THE RUNDOWN: Wednesday, December 1

ABC
8:00 The Middle #27 "The Diaper Incident" (REPEAT)
8:30 Better With You #2 "Better With Firehouse" (REPEAT)
9:00 Modern Family #28 "Strangers on a Treadmill" (REPEAT)
9:30 Cougar Town #25 "All Mixed Up" (REPEAT)
10:00 The Whole Truth #6 "Liars"
ABC’s comedy shows are in repeats and they don’t tend to repeat as well as CBS’s shows, so expect low numbers. The burning-off drama The Whole Truth returns at 10pm and it hasn’t been seen since October 27. It is scheduled to air throughout December but after that, it’s unknown when the remaining few episodes will air. Series lows for Truth would not be surprising tonight.
Prediction: Middle – 5.2 million, 1.5/Better – 4.9 million, 1.4/Modern – 6.2 million, 1.7/Cougar – 5.0 million, 1.6/Truth – 4.1 million, 1.0

CBS
8:00 Survivor
9:00 Criminal Minds #107 "Mosley Lane" (REPEAT)
10:00 Grammy Nominations Concert (SPECIAL)
CBS has a new Survivor as it nears its Nicaragua finale, it should see nice numbers especially with repeats on ABC. A repeat of Criminal Minds follows and should be solid for a repeat. The Defenders is preempted for a Grammy Nominations Concert which drew 6.3 million viewers and a 2.3 in the demo at 9pm last year. Slightly lower numbers wouldn’t be surprising.
Prediction: Survivor – 12.5 million, 3.8/Criminal – 10.0 million, 2.1/Grammys – 5.9 million, 2.0

NBC
8:00 Undercovers #9 "A Night to Forget"
9:00 Law & Order: SVU #258 "Rescue"
10:00 Law & Order: Los Angeles #8 "Playa Vista"
NBC has an all-new lineup starting with the now-cancelled Undercovers, which should be low as usual. Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Los Angeles should benefit from repeats/specials/cancelled shows on ABC and CBS. In fact, NBC needs them to show growth. I expect they will.
Prediction: Undercovers – 5.2 million, 1.3/SVU – 8.5 million, 2.4/Los Angeles – 8.3 million, 2.2

FOX
8:00 Human Target #15 "Taking Ames"
9:00 Hell's Kitchen
FOX also has an all-new lineup. Human Target may see a slight rise from last week’s Thanksgiving Eve performance while Hell’s Kitchen may be up more substantially and might even sneak out a demo win thanks to repeats on ABC and CBS.
Prediction: Target – 5.8 million, 1.6/Hell’s – 6.2 million, 2.5
